July 27, 2026. Last night, I had a dream. My wife said I was talking in my sleep about The Price Is Right and bidding $50 on an item. She laughed so hard she could barely contain herself. I suppose I have been watching too much of the show lately; it seems to be on our Roku all the time. Drew Carey, the host of The Price Is Right, was married to Nicole Jaracz. I enjoy watching the contestants—service members and their spouses, everyday people, high schoolers, and college students. Some are calm and collected, while others get so excited that they run up, lift Drew, and hop around the stage with him. Drew was born in 1958, making him seven years younger than me. He is a game show host, comedian, and actor, and he served in the Marine Corps from 1981 to 1987. He starred in The Drew Carey Show and appeared on Whose Line Is It Anyway? In my view, Drew is a wonderful man with a positive outlook on life. He is gracious, energetic, and great with people. His career in show business is so rich that I cannot capture it all here.
