We live in a terrific country, and this is an excellent time to live here. If we were poor, we could improve our circumstances; if we were disadvantaged, we have a terrific society that gives us every chance to have a good life. Good and evil come and go, and sometimes societies clash. We in America try to make freedom the norm and have always sought to live by our Constitution, which protects us and guarantees certain inalienable rights. These rights invite prosperity and religion, higher education, protection from enemies, and freedom to be us. We decide what course will be. We plan our lives, we can fail miserably or have great success. We can choose to be mediocre, and thats ok. We can be fruitful and happy; If we pick fruit, work in the fields, factories, on roads, in the fishing trades, as pilots, in the health industry, and the list goes on.

We pray that democracy carrys on.

Will we care enough to make sure it does?

I'm sure millions and millions want that.
