A thought about a hospital visit

terrible pains, and what do you know, small bowel obstruction, which is serious. I had the same thing happen 5 years back. It’s getting to be a complete (and I’ll use it) drag, won’t say much about it except it involves tremendous pain. Don’t know what it feels like to have a baby, but I think it’s similar to the pain I had going on for three days. I could go further, but no one needs to hear it. I made up a poem about it after this bout of the infamous episode.
hospital
Does anyone like the hospital?
I don’t think so.
It’s where we go, and sometimes.
Don’t come back.
Rich and poor were all treated
the same.
There are no gold toilets
or silver and oil paintings.
There are no Ferraris
and adult toys.
There are no mansions
and high thread sheets.
No blonde starlets to
serve at your feet.
No Harvard’s, Princeton’s
, and degrees,
titles, racehorses, and caviar.
No private jets
of leisure.
