My wife and I are comfortably watching a Christmas movie in our jammies before a fire. I’m going to share a good movie I watched just now. (A season for miracles) It’s one of the good Christmas movies I’ve watched with my wife this season. It has a good story, self-sacrifice, love and giving yourself to the point of risking jail. I think that’s what Christmas is all about. The subject parallels the good Samaritan. The story is found in the Bible. This man came from Jericho and was set upon by thieves, who wounded him and left him for dead. Several people crossed the road around this stricken man. Among them was a priest and a Levite. Then a Samaritan went to him, bound up his wounds, placed him on a donkey, and brought him to the nearest inn and took care of him. The Samaritan left money with the innkeeper to take care of the man and left in the morning. I know there are millions of good Samaritans in this world, and I hope to follow the principles of a good Samaritan in my life. Anyway, watch the movie.
